The blow to the Strawberry economy and other nearby areas is unfortunate; but, at least it’s not completely closed to the public. The hike down isn’t so bad, anyways. And the drive in from Camp Verde is quite gorgeous.

It feels good to have to sweat a little to see beautiful places.
